The Impact of Job Enrichment on Organizational Effectiveness: A Field Study on Yemen Gas Company

Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the impact of job enrichment on organizational effectiveness at the Yemen Gas Company. The study adopted an analytical method and used a questionnaire as the main tool for data collection. The study population included all administrative levels in the company, encompassing the Executive General Manager and his deputies, department directors, division managers, heads of sections, and specialists at the Headquarters (Safer), totaling 121 individuals. The study employed a comprehensive survey approach, and data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical program. The results revealed a statistically significant effect of job enrichment on organizational effectiveness. It was also found that all dimensions of job enrichment contribute to influencing organizational effectiveness. The findings indicated that 45% of the variance in organizational effectiveness levels is attributed to the level of job enrichment. Among the dimensions, feedback and skill variety had the most substantial influence on organizational effectiveness. Based on these findings, the study recommended adopting job enrichment strategies as a fundamental approach to enhancing organizational effectiveness, with an emphasis on providing continuous feedback to employees, granting them greater autonomy in task performance, and diversifying their skills through well-planned and effective training programs. Such initiatives would contribute to developing employees’ capabilities and improving organizational effectiveness within the company.
