Transformational Leadership and Its Impact on Crisis Management: A Field Study on Senior Management Leaders in Ma'rib Governorate, Yemen

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the impact of transformational leadership on crisis management in Ma'rib Governorate, Yemen. The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach and relied on a questionnaire to collect data from the study population, which consisted of top management leaders in Ma'rib Governorate (totaling 250 individuals). Due to the small size of the study population, a complete census was employed. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the data. The study found several key results, including a significant impact of the dimensions of transformational leadership on crisis management in Ma'rib Governorate. The study recommends implementing several reforms to enhance crisis management in the governorate. These include providing training to administrative leaders on transformational leadership, creating a dedicated crisis management department, developing comprehensive crisis plans, allocating a budget for crisis response, establishing a flexible information system, and supporting the creation of research centers focused on crisis management.
