Knowledge Management and Its Impact on Strategic Vigilance: A Field Study in Yemenia Airways

Abstract
This study aimed to determine the impact of knowledge management with its dimensions (knowledge diagnosis, knowledge generation, knowledge distribution, knowledge storage, and knowledge application) on strategic vigilance with its dimensions (competitive vigilance, commercial vigilance, technological vigilance, and environmental vigilance) in Yemenia Airways. To answer the study's questions and test its hypotheses, the researchers used the analytical descriptive method and a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The study population consisted of senior and middle management leaders in the company, totaling (1081) individuals. A non-proportional random sample of (323) individuals was selected. The study found a positive impact of the dimensions of knowledge management (knowledge diagnosis, knowledge distribution, knowledge storage, and knowledge application) on strategic vigilance in Yemenia Airways, while no statistically significant impact was found for the knowledge generation dimension on strategic vigilance. The study also found a high level of strategic vigilance achievement in Yemenia Airways, accompanied by a high level of knowledge management implementation in the company under study.
